We spent one night in my parents' driveway before beginning our adventure. We spent that day and night busy getting ready for our official leave. We also spent as much time as we could with my parents, we're going to miss them greatly!
Our first stop was Laughlin, NV, where Rob's parents live. We didn't do much there, probably because of the sheer exhaustion we faced from the intense two weeks prior. Rob's parents came over each day we were there and the girls had fun visiting with their grandparents. That was the extent of our activities, we left the RV park only twice, both times for food. Another reason we were probably content with doing nothing is that Laughlin wasn't new to us, we've been there many times before so there wasn't anything that we wanted to see, besides Rob's family.
