My name is Jen. I am a mom to four crazy girls. I am also the wife to an equally crazy husband, Rob. We have been married since August 2000. That's a long time!

This blog began as a way for me to document and share our travels with friends and family. In October 2012 we sold most of our belongings and left our home in California for the open road. We spent six months traveling the USA before deciding to call Tennessee our home. We have been in Tennessee since January 2013 and we are loving it here!

Before we left for our trip I hadn't traveled much, or at all really. I grew up poor so traveling was never something we did. I never knew just how amazing and beautiful our country is. I can't even pick a favorite state because I love all of the ones we visited so much! I think Arkansas would have to be the most beautiful. Louisiana was the most interesting. Texas was also amazing, I fell in love with Austin but we had the best Halloween experience ever down near Corpus Christi. I wish we were still traveling because I'd love to visit every state, but it's expensive to travel full-time! If I had an unlimited supply of money I'd hit the road again tomorrow.

A little more about me:

I'm pretty sarcastic and have a cheesy sense of humor.

I have one brother, he's 5 years younger than me. As a kid I always wished he was my sister so we could share clothes.

I have abnormally short pinky fingers, like so small that gloves never fit. It's sad.

I am tall, always have been. I have never played any sports but people constantly ask if I have.

I overuse the exclamation point, can't help it!
